Mark Conaway, PhD and Gina Petroni, PhD, Earn Nearly $2 Million to Develop Novel Statistical Methods for ELISpot Experiments

Mark Conaway, PhD, professor of in the Department of Public Health Sciences, and UVA Researchers have been awarded a four-year, $1.95 million NIH R01 grant to investigate two significant clinical questions: 1) how should ELISpot assay data be used in early phase clinical trials to identify potentially effective therapies and 2) can ELISpot assay data predict longer term clinical benefit.
